A little girl sat alone one day
A few mean girls came by to say
How ugly she was and very disliked
While the other girls seemed to unite
Broken and sad the girl felt rejected
She built a thick wall so she was protected
Now she was safe in her solitude
From shallow girls that act so rude
But the walls that kept the bad out failed to let the good in
And the tiny space that felt so safe kept the girl imprisoned
