I believe God has a specific plan for each one of our lives. His plan is to use our distinctive talents in a unique way to minister to a world living in darkness. As we walk in his perfect will for us we begin to shine like a light in the darkness. This light will captivate people who only know darkness, and they will be drawn to our Father.

We must break free from the messages ingrained in us through our life experiences in order to discover our purpose. We break free by confronting each lie with the truth of God’s Word. We must take every thought captive obedient to Christ (2 Cor. 10:5). We have to put off our old selves and be made new in the attitude of our minds (Eph. 4:23). If God’s people will do this we will see a transformation in the Church. People will run to us, rather than away.

I believe God wants to raise up this generation of the church to crave truth rather than religion. He wants us to desire all of Him rather than just enough. He wants his bride to shine in these desperate times. But in that day, the branch of the LORD will be beautiful and glorious; the fruit of the land will be the pride and glory of all who survive in Israel (Isaiah 4:2).

We are part of that branch. Let us throw off everything that hinders and achieve with perseverance God’s divine purpose for our lives (Heb. 12:1). He is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think (Eph. 3:20). We need to pray for God to send workers into the harvest, and recognize you are one of those workers (Matt. 9:38).

It is time for us to change our world. It is time to take the Gospel to the ends of the earth. Every soul matters to Jesus, and the fields are ripe for the harvest.
